Woman identified as, Toyin Ogunminiyi, disclosed to a customary court On Tuesday, January 24, to please help dissolve her 20-year-old marriage and requesting that, her husband release her six pants in Ikole-Ekiti.

The woman disclosed to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), that her husband was in the habit of beating and tearing her clothes in public. They added that, the man is fond of accusing his wife of adultery.

She said: “My husband a commercial motorcyclist (okada), always spends his money on alcohol and his concubines. He does not take proper care of me and the children. I am seeking the dissolution of our association as well as the release of my pants in his house.”


Other belongings she said was in his possession includes, two native dresses, one jeans skirt and a plastic basin, as she urged to court to give her custody of the children. She further requested that, the court should compel her husband to giver a monthly fee of N20,000 to assist in the maintenance of the children.

The man did not deny his drinking habit to the court but he also disclosed that, he does not want his wife again because she is adulterous.
