‘Why I Dedicated My Goal To David Luiz’- Chelsea Striker Giroud Speaks

Image
Chelsea striker, Olivier Giroud has disclosed why he dedicated the goal he scored against Liverpool in the Premier League to fellow teammate, David Luiz. Giroud headed in the only goal of the game, as Chelsea defeated Liverpool 1-0 at the Stamford Bridge on Sunday. The Blues came into the game, needing a victory to keep their slim hopes of squeezing into the top four alive. The win takes Antonio Conte’s men to 69 points, two behind Tottenham Hotspur, who lost 1-0 to West Brom on Saturday, with two fixtures left. Giroud, however, said he dedicates the goal he scored against the Reds to Luiz because the Brazilian international is a good friend who is currently going through a tough time at Chelsea. “I know when Victor [Moses] doesn’t cross the ball at first he’s going to go on his right, so I had to be ready at the front post and luckily I finished it,” Giroud told reporters after the match. “David Luiz is a good friend, so I was very pleased to dedicate him this goal be

Image
Arsene Wenger said his farewell to Emirates Stadium with a thrashing of Burnley to leave in the same way it all began for him as Arsenal manager 7,876 days ago – with victory. In a season of discontent and occasional open rebellion, this was a day for a united front to celebrate the career of the manager who has brought so much success and style to Arsenal since starting his reign with that 2-0 win at Ewood Park in 1996. And in a campaign of disappointment that will now be viewed as the end of an era, the last hope of success snuffed out by the Europa League semi-final loss to Atletico Madrid, Wenger at least got the home send-off he so deserved – with a stylish win over Burnley. The Clarets, who have a wonderful story of their own this season, were outclassed as Arsenal ran out 5-0 winners to give Wenger his 475th win in 826 Premier League games. This was not the time to celebrate a single victory but to reflect on all the triumphs and pleasure Wenger has brought to Arsen

We note that Vice President Osinbajo has refused to heed wise counsel and accord respect to his office by desisting from such unguarded comments only because he has been sucked in and entangled in the propaganda, deception, impunity and sleazes that not only brought their admi
