Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Lawmakers have walked out of the Senate during plenary on Wednesday, November 30. The opposition senators staged the walk out in protest over the defection of Sen. Yale Omogunwa of Ondo South to the All Progressives Congress (APC). It all started when the President of the Senate  Bukola Saraki read a letter from Senator, Omogunwa informing his colleagues in the upper house  that he had moved from the PDP to APC. As  APC senators welcome Omogunwa with joy, Minority Senate Leader Godswill Akpabio of the PDP raised a point of order to correct what he called insinuations in the letter that PDP is divided.
